New Running Program

Okay, So my blog is going to become my running log...

I've decided that it is high time to loose some weight and get back into health!

So I decided to do the Couch to 5 K in 9 weeks!

Monday I took a short run then stretched...

Today I warmed up on the eliptical machine for 10 minutes. I Stretched for 10 minutes then I jogged and walked for 10 minutes. I'm feeling a little sore tonight but feeling AMAZING that I can do it! I'm determined to make it through a 5K in 9 weeks.

The thing about it is that I haven't run in 9 years! I'm also dealing with ankles that are very weak because they are missing bones in them.  If I just keep training on them and working with them it will be great! I've done 1/2 a mile jogging/walking... now its time to keep going. I have to get some sleep so I can get up early in the am and do it again!!!

God's my strength and my guide I'll do it with him by my side!

WOW I can't believe that I haven't written anything in a very long time! I finished student teaching on Wednesday the 10th of May... It was definately a sad day! I ended up bawling as the parents threw me a surprise party for going away... I recieved a gift card to Barns and Noble not only from the parents but also from the students. It was so amazingly sweet! So that was on Wednesday - that night my best friend from Seattle flew into the cities for graduation :) I drove her all the way up to St. Cloud and spent the night at my parents house.

Thursday I ran a bunch of errands and prepared myself for graduation. Friday... wow what can I really say about Friday besides OH MY GOODNESS!!!! I finished college YAY! I'm so excited beyond means of life!!!!! My home congregatiion has decided to open a preschool campus and so I will be recieving a call from them to be the administrator and teacher! How God works in such amazing ways seems to amaze me all the time!

I started nannying for a family in Woodbury 3 months ago - they are SOOOOOO sweet. I love the kids to death! Its a complicated situation but I'm really happy God provdied me with this opportunity.

I had a graduation party on Saturday... there were a TON of people here - it was definately CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So that's been my life. There are boys in my life - one in particular that I would like to be closer with but distance is a hard thing!!! BUT God has a plan and that's all that matters.

The one where I am bawling

So today was my final day with pre-school. I ended up waking up in a good mood this morning and I was looking forward today...
I got to school and ended up BAWLING most of my day with Gail - She and I couldn't look at each other without crying!

We had Parent Teacher Conferences today so I was working with those, that was weird... we just... cried inbetween them... I gave her a precious moments figurine and flowers.... she gave me books and flowers. I seriously came home at like 3 and bawled myself to sleep until 7 tonight.

Now I have to get my house cleaned so I can get ready to head to St. Cloud - I also start my new job tomorrow! I'm nannying for 3 kids here in Woodbury, I'm really excited about it!

Yikes....

So this week, if I could put a bet on it would be one where I bet that I was going to die a miserable death... Its just been a really rough week... it all started on Monday when I had to attend CSP's ALL day seminar for student teachers. Shall I say, ri freaking diculous....

Well from there it's all been a backwards slide. Gail I have to say has been pissy. It actually hurt me enough that on Thursday night I went home and just ended up bawling because I thought I was the worst teacher ever and she just... I don't know... really upsetting. I guess that's where most of my week has been... just trying to get her to laugh or smile. I put way too much energy into that... oh well...

Now Robert and I are at my parents place for the weekend... alone. Its weird to be here and not have my parents around. They are both down in teh cities... joyous. But he's sleeping in the chair across from me... He's so freaking handsome... but whatever... we're JUST FRIENDS and that is all we ever will be...

I need to go and change and put a face on or something becuase we're going out to do stuff in a bit. Ya'll have a great one!
